Before test day
Prepare for safe, independent driving.
Driving test preparation brings your skills together: observation, speed management, safe gaps, lane changes, parking and responding to unfamiliar situations. Your instructor can identify what needs more practice and suggest a mock test when appropriate.
If you want test-day support or to use a HIENZ car, confirm instructor and vehicle availability for your test centre, date and time before booking your test. Check what your chosen service includes. Practice roads vary, and neither a particular test route nor a pass is guaranteed.

Can I request pickup from home, work or school?
