Remember the feedback you received during your driving lessons and mock test, particularly about observation, speed management, gap selection, lane changes, parking and responding safely to traffic conditions.

Tips for a Confident Drive Test

• Trust the skills and safe driving habits you have practised. 
• Apply the feedback provided by your instructor and mock-test assessment. 
• Take your time and avoid rushing decisions. 
• Check your mirrors regularly and perform head checks when required. 
• Maintain a safe speed and following distance. 
• Observe signs, road markings, pedestrians and changing traffic conditions. 
• If you make a small mistake, remain calm and continue driving safely. 
• Listen carefully to the testing officer’s directions and ask for clarification if necessary. 
• Get enough sleep before the test and arrive with sufficient time to prepare.
