Nearby streets offer a familiar local setting for discussing turning decisions, pedestrian awareness and checking that the road ahead is clear. Practice locations are chosen according to your ability and access on the day.
03 Residential parking and everyday trips Work on controlled stops, reverse parallel parking and careful observation in a suitable residential area. As you progress, link these skills into a longer local drive, planning turns early and maintaining space around other road users.
