Best Driving Instructor
Ian is honestly the best driving instructor I’ve ever had! I’ve been to several instructors before, but Ian completely changed my confidence and the way I approach driving.
His teaching style is amazing, he explains everything clearly, makes you feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and genuinely focuses on making you a good and safe driver, not just someone who can pass the test.
What I especially appreciate is how he builds discipline and good driving habits. He is patient, supportive, and knows exactly how to correct your mistakes while helping you understand why they matter.
If you’re nervous about driving or have struggled with other instructors, I highly recommend Ian. He is genuinely one of the best instructors I’ve had. 10/10! ???

Ian is a great instructor. I had to switch to him after my previous instructor fell ill, with only three days to go before my driving test. Ian gave me two lessons before the test and another on the day, and fortunately, his guidance and test-focused teaching helped me pass on my first attempt!
My test was at Sherwood, and Ian knew the area extremely well. He took me through all the key areas and made sure I was familiar and comfortable with the test routes and what to expect.
Thanks for all your help, Ian! I really appreciate your guidance and would definitely recommend him to anyone preparing for their driving test.

I can’t recommend HIENZ Driving School enough! Mr. Ian (Trung) is incredibly experienced, patient, and genuinely loves teaching. He pays attention to every detail, points out every mistake, and explains how to fix it. His focus on defensive driving and road rules gave me so much confidence.
I only had around 10 hours of lessons with him and passed my driving test with zero errors! My only regret is not finding him sooner—I would have got my licence much earlier. 100/10 driving instructor on the Gold Coast!

I had a great experience learning with Ian (Trung). He prepared me for all the situations I could face during the driving test, not just on one test route. His teaching helped me understand how to handle different road conditions and situations confidently, so I felt prepared no matter which test area I was driving in. That made a huge difference and was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend Ian.

When I first started learning, I was nervous and made a lot of mistakes. Ian was always patient, encouraging, and detailed in his explanations. He helped me understand not only what mistakes I was making, but also how to become a safer and more confident driver.
Before the test, he carefully reviewed the areas I needed to improve and gave me practical tips that were easy to remember. His guidance helped me stay calm and prepared on test day.
I am very grateful for all the support and would highly recommend Ian (Trung) Tran to anyone looking for a driving instructor. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal of getting my P’s!

I drove with Ian last week. It was my first driving lesson with a professional in Melbourne. I’ve only ever driven on farms so I was really nervous being on the road. Ian incorporates all my feelings into helping me with new techniques I haven’t yet known and helped in correcting issues like my habits. He was very professional and often helped loosen my anxiety. I’m currently away on holidays so I can’t get lessons yet. However, I’m so happy and satisfied with my first lesson, I’ll be sure to book in a package when I’m back to learn new techniques and gain confidence in driving.
Again, thank you so much.
See you on the road soon!???
