Who Is This Lesson For?
This shorter session suits beginners taking their first steps, learners maintaining regular practice, or drivers wanting to focus on a particular skill. If you feel nervous, let your instructor know so the lesson can begin at a comfortable level.
Skills You Can Practise
Your instructor will select suitable activities for your ability and the time available. These may include:
- Smooth steering, acceleration and braking.
- Safe left and right turns and correct road positioning.
- Give-way decisions at intersections and roundabouts.
- Lane changes, mirror checks and blind-spot checks.
- Hazard awareness, speed control and safe following distances.
- Applying road rules in everyday traffic.
Each lesson focuses on the skills you need most; not every topic will be covered in one session.
